Welcome, Pastor Manz!

We are thrilled to announce the installation of our new pastor, Reverend Michael Manz, on July 28, 2024.
Rev. Michael Manz has been a pastor for 15 years and has served congregations in various capacities including full-time, as a worker-priest, and as a vacancy pastor. He is passionate about teaching Bible classes and preaching, and he loves teaching Confirmation.

Before attending seminary, Pastor Manz was a machinist and has worked in that field off and on since.
He received his Bachelor of Liberal Arts from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ, in 2002. In 2009, he was awarded his Master of Divinity from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN. He is married to Dianna.

Pastor Manz is excited to serve at Our Savior and earnestly prays that Christ will use him to be a blessing to the saints there.

Thank you!

We would like to thank Rev. Joel Picard and his home congregation at Trinity Lutheran in Knoxville, Iowa, who graciously accepted our request for Pastor to serve Our Savior Lutheran during our pastoral vacancy.  Pastor Picard also served during our last vacancy in 2017-18.

We also thank Rev. David Brandt (retired from Immanuel Lutheran Church in Grinnell, IA) who supported our congregation during the vacancy in many ways, including visitation, leading Bible class, and mid-week services.

The members of Our Savior are deeply indebted to both of these servants of God for keeping us strong in the faith and fellowship as God led us to the next Undershepherd at our congregation.

Welcome!

Welcome also to our new office administrator Mickey Van Baale!
